  • Overview

    The Sr. e-Discovery Operations Engineer is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects through our proprietary electronic data discovery processing tool, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

    Responsibilities

     
    • Lead the planning and implementation of projects in support of the EDRM and all aspects of eDiscovery.
    • Manage Hosted Databases: Relativity, iConect and FYI Reviewer.
    • Facilitate and define project scope, goals and deliverables, as well as project tasks and resource requirements.
    • Develop full scale project plans, resource allocation, and project timelines.
    • Partner with Account Managers and Project Managers to develop a project strategy and help create solutions to address the project requirements and provide the best value to the client relationship.
    • Consult with Account Managers and Project Managers to determine the best service and processing/production options to meet expectations and project deadlines.
    • Identifying conflicts, both technical and timeline, and coordinate with all stakeholders.
    • Plan and schedule project timelines.
    • Coordinate delivery of accurate product information.
    • Maintain current knowledge of Xact's products and services, industry trends and local competitors
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Provide direction and support to project team
    • Perform quality control on client project deliverables.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders
    • Present reports defining project progress, issues and applicable solutions
    • Implement and manage all projects and intervene as needed to ensure project delivery
    • Evaluate project results and identify changes that can be implemented for future work.

    Qualifications

     

    EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business preferred;
    • 3 to 5 years of Litigation Support/Project Management experience in a law firm and/or with an eDiscovery service provider required
    • Extensive knowledge of litigation support software including but not limited to Relativity, Concordance, Summation, IPro, and Ringtail.
    • Knowledge of dtSearch preferred
    • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
    • English fluency required.
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • Direct work experience in project management capacity
    • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
