  • Overview

    The Director of Client Solutions will play a key role in expanding Xact Data Discovery’s (“XDD’s”) consulting group and oversee client engagements.  This person excels at building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and internal business units through top-notch communication and utilization of consultative selling.


    Essential Functions:

    • Act as a solutions architect and team lead to the consulting group of XDD by scoping engagements, creating project workflows, and liaising between clients and the XDD consultancy team.
    • Utilizes a consultative selling approach with clients by leveraging industry and existing competencies.
    • Drives new business and expands wallet share of existing client accounts by uncovering unmet needs and proposing appropriate solutions.
    • Identifies new service offerings and growth opportunities.
    • Cultivates subject matter expertise in all XDD’s lines of service.
    • Partners with members of the greater XDD sales team to close and scope projects.
    • Travels onsite to meet with clients and scope engagements.
    • End to end management of book of business including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline reporting.
    • Provides support where needed to Managing Director, Director of Operations, and XDD leadership team.

    • Achieves individual goals and facilitates the achievement of company-wide goals.


    Education, Licenses, and Certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Graduate degree in a relevant field 


    • Minimum 5-7 years of experience providing high-end consulting services and designing client engagements in one or more of the following areas: legal process outsourcing, managed services, business operations, legal operations, litigation support, eDiscovery, corporate compliance, due diligence.
    • Minimum 4-5 years overseeing consulting teams.
    • Experience working and building relationships with client executives and external stakeholders.
    • Experience leading and selling consulting services to corporate customers.
    • Prior work expeirnce at a consulting firm strongly preferred.

    • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
    • Flexibility and the willingness to adapt as business priorities shift.
    • Ability to manage, prioritize, and multi-task on multiple projects.
    • Strong knowledge of CRM and applicable software.
    • Strong knowledge or willingness to become proficient in appropriate tech-enabled solutions.
    • Ability to assemble project teams and design industry-compliance workflows.
    • Strong familiarity in sales cycle from proposal to contract.
    • Ability to demonstrate a high level of integrity and work ethic..
    • Ability to effectively work independently with minimal guidance.
    • Ability to travel onsite for client engagements and meetings.
