  • Overview

    The RVP of eDiscovery Project Management is responsible for the management of eDiscovery teams engaged with specific clients, for all phases of the EDRM, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.  The RVP of Project Management controls the entire Project Management team, who manage full lifecycle of projects including direction, strategy, consultation, coordination and direction of teams handling client requests.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead the planning and implementation of projects in support of the EDRM and all aspects of eDiscovery.
    • Manage project delivery, including coordination of Project Management, Operations, Analytics and Managed Review teams
    • Facilitate and define resource requirements for Project Management team’s; defining roles, staffing needs, schedules and growth with revenue targets
    • Develop and maintain gross profit related to Project Management and billing expectations of team
    • Account penetration and development for new and existing clients:
    • Develop and enhance long-term, high quality client relationships by consistently exceeding client expectations.
    • Partner with Account Managers and clients to develop a project strategy and help create solutions to address the project requirements and provide the best value to the client relationship.
    • Consult with clients and Account Managers to determine the best service and product options to meet pricing expectations and project deadlines.
    • Coordinate delivery of accurate work order information.
    • Maintain and develop expert knowledge of XDD’s products and services, industry trends and local competitors
    • Assemble and coordinate Team staffing:
    • Manage the project budget.
    • Manage the project resource allocation.
    • Plan and schedule project timelines.
    • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
    • Provide direction and management to project team
    • Perform quality control on client project deliverables.
    • Monitor and report on the progress of projects to all stakeholders
    • Present reports defining project progress, issues and applicable solutions
    • Implement and manage all projects and intervene as needed to ensure project delivery
    • Evaluate project results and identify changes that can be implemented for future work
    • Recruit and maintain project teams, in Project Management and Operational roles
    • Create and maintain process and workflow both existing and development of new process
    • Manage hiring, recruiting, talent acquisition training protocols and employee review
    • Build proficiencies in advanced workflows and methodology to provide the highest level of client service
    • Maintain, create and build upon process documentation, including creation and advancement of training and process related protocol
    • Manage Cross departmental relationships and process
    • Manage team budget
    • Complete RFP requirement coordinated with Sales Operations and other groups

     

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business preferred;
    • 10-15 years of Litigation Support/Project Management experience in a law firm and/or with an eDiscovery service provider required
    • Knowledge of litigation support software with high level competence of Relativity
    • Strong knowledge of dtSearch preferred
    • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment
    • English fluency required.
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • Direct work experience in project management capacity
    • Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management.
    • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Processing, Data Collection and Preservation, and Document Review
    • Manage integration activities related to project managers within acquisition
