  • Overview

    The Collections Specialist supports the functions of the Credit Manager. Performs daily collection calls, account research and analysis, prepare and maintain various reports, maintain an accurate aging report, identify and execute the necessary process adjustments and send statements to outstanding customers.


    • Must have experience with Retention Collections in a professional business environment
    • Responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generating weekly aging reports in a timely manner.
    • Keep records of all delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks.
    • Compiles necessary data from financial institutions such as banks and credit organizations.
    • Solicits payments on overdue accounts.
    • Enters data accurately.


    • Knowledge of general accounting principles, and 2 years accounts receivables and collections experience in the field or related area.
    • Effective collection strategies dealing with business to business accounts.
    • Some College coursework preferred.
    • Effective communicator as he or she will deal with clients internally and externally.
    • A detail-oriented individual willing to take full ownership.
    • Able to prioritize work assignments effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask.
    • An effective and efficient problem solver.
    • Must have a positive and proactive attitude.
    • Proficient in MS Office applications: Word, Outlook and particularly Excel
    • Ability to work independently or as a team.
