    Xact Data Discovery has an immediate opening for an experienced Vice President of eDiscovery Operations in our Dallas, TX office.

     

     

    The Vice President of eDiscovery Operations is responsible for the management of eDiscovery teams engaged with specific clients, for all phases of the EDRM, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.  The VP of eDiscovery Operations leads the client services team (Project Management, Hosting Support, and Analytics Consulting group) who manage full lifecycle of projects including direction, strategy, consultation, coordination and direction of teams handling client requests.

     

    This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations. 

    Responsibilities

    • Lead projects and teams in support of the EDRM and all aspects of eDiscovery
    • Manage project delivery, including coordination of Project Management, Analytics and Hosting Support teams
    • Coordinate and manage cross-departmental workflows and communications
    • Facilitate and define resource requirements for Client Service teams
    • Maintain, create and build upon process documentation, including creation and advancement of training and process related protocol
    • Manage departmental talent acquisition and onboarding including training protocols and employee review
    • Lead Development team in new technology projects, updates to existing software and testing/verification of product release
    • Manage departmental budgets
    • Develop and enhance long-term, high quality client relationships by consistently exceeding client expectations
    • Engage with senior leadership regarding M&A, due diligence, and acquisition integration activities

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business preferred
    • 10-15 years of Litigation Support/Project Management experience in a law firm and/or with an eDiscovery service provider in a leadership position required
    • 5-7 years of senior-level leadership experience
    • Knowledge of budgets and budgetary process required
    • Knowledge of eDiscovery review software (Relativity, Viewpoint and Eclipse) with expert level competence of Relativity
    • Strong knowledge of data searching preferred
    • English fluency required
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • Direct work experience in eDiscovery consultation and project management
    • Advanced knowledge of Data Analytics, Data Processing, Data Collection and Preservation, and Document Review
    • Experience with acquisition activities related to project managers and data migration support within acquisition integration
